Deep Summer,
an expanded label.
Some expanded systems use Deep Summer for cool, muted color with more depth than the usual Summer descriptions. Test a darker muted blue or plum against a clearer Winter tone. This is an explanatory label, not a universal sixteenth-season standard.
A name with changing boundaries
There is no single sixteen-season standard. Expanded models split families differently and may use different names for similar qualities. Ask the provider which model their label belongs to before comparing palettes.
This page explains the label. Our quiz scores the twelve core seasons and does not claim to identify a sixteenth-season subtype.

Dusty rose, blue-gray and muted pine share a quiet, cool cast. Layer neighboring depths so one very bright piece does not steal all the attention.

Test one change
Choose two fabrics from the same hue family. Keep two color qualities similar and change only lightness, temperature or clarity. Repeat in daylight. A consistent preference is more useful than assuming every expanded label has a fixed set of hex codes.
