Warm and cool undertone tests

Fabric comparisons are the main clue. Veins, jewelry and photos can support a comparison, but do not settle it.

Compare warm and cool fabric

Hold warm peach and cool rose near the face under the same neutral daylight. Match their size, depth and finish. Repeat the comparison. If both feel good, depth or clarity may matter more than temperature.

Jewelry and veins are weak clues

Gold versus silver depends on preference, size and finish as well as color. Veins appear through skin and change with lighting and location. Mixed clues are common; an uncertain answer is more useful than forcing a choice.

A camera records lighting as well as skin

The photo sampler averages three selected patches in CIELAB D65 and reports their relative yellow/rose bias. Phone processing, white balance, makeup and reflected colors can overwhelm a subtle difference. It does not identify biological undertone or a color season.

Sun reaction is not part of the quiz

Tanning and sunburn do not decide a color season. This site does not score sun reaction or ask you to expose yourself to sunlight. Temperature, depth and clarity are tested as visual styling observations.
